What did I learn in 2010?

I m dedicat'd this blog to New Year's Arrival!

I've learned the follow'n in this year

1. People
I came to realize certain rules to be applied for people!
-Hazrat Ali (RA) once said that "Three things; Power, Money, Fame; when comes to the people...people don't change ... they just become original " ... that was a litmus test to identify hypocrites
-Hazrat Ali (RA)'s wise say'n ... "If you want to determine the Intellectual Level of a person ... Give him respect; if he considers it as your courtesy then he got high level & if he considers that he deserv'd to be respected ... he got a low level of intellect" ... that help'd me identify'n people
- One who couldnt withstand ma bad moods doesnt deserve ma good ones! As i found it out the hard way
- People think that you are stupid and when u prove 'em wrong, u r being call'd as a Cheater and whn you prove em right ... u r ..still stupid!!!
- People will become jealous of you only and only if they know that you are achiev'n somethng!
- U can't please everyone !!!

2- LIfe
-Life is full of happiness, all u need is that 'EYE' to c it
-Life has its own ways of mak'n you successful, u jst need to knw how to follow 'em
-Life gives you tough times to push you to next level ... so dnt stick to guns :p
-Enjoy the life ....

3- Work
-Determination, Consistence, Smart Work .... thts the key to success
-Plan your moves ...
-Smartwork is better thn hardwork
-Strategy works best whn you knw ur opponent well enough !!

4- family
-Family -- All hands on deck !
- Priority #1 - Family .. DNt loose 'em
- I cn give anythng for ma ammi g (mother)'s smile

Yes .... Yes ... the long await'd ... IPAD Contender worldwide is finally pav'n its way to reach at the top of the market share in Pakistan as well.
Thanx to the Mobilink ....for bring'n the Android Power'd Tablet to the Pakistani Market.
Mobilink in collaboration with Google and Samsung is having a huge launch party in Lahore, Pakistan today noon where the Android Power'd Tablet. The 7inch Touch Screen has an added feature which is more of a competitive edge over IPAD is ... It can make Calls !

Personally, I would love to go for GAlaxy P1000 Tab. Reasons

Its coooler
Its more beneficial in terms of a Tab
Its Android Powered (seriously i love this feature )
Its a Phone
COnference View Calls
Andriod Apps

In my opinion, Samsung played a very strategic game while entering the Market. Samsung first wait'd for Apple to launch its product, make the whole 'AWE' and thn awareness campaigns for IPAD. Apple's Marketing team literally put blood n' sweat to IPAD fame from hype to launch .... after sales .... nd the critics etc
But Samsung just took the IPAD from the market, they review'd the tablet, watch'd some funny videos on IPAD describing its shortcommings ... nd then ... they simply made a better version of it and launched it ... with a more sensible name.

According to Times and Techland, Apple is thinking to launch IPAD 2.0 in Mid 2011 (as per assumptions because Apple Loves to launch the next versions in June/July [Source: Techland]) with a camera at the front and at the back plus a USB portal. Plus loads of features ...

As far as today's event is concern'd ... One thing I would love to share is that the IPAD Lovers will have a heavy heart .... I've seen die hard fans of IPAD like Mam Jehan Ara ... and i really respect the choice .... because I've came to learn one thing from Mam having IPAD is that ... make the best out of thing you have !!!
While the IPAD gang and Android Power'd Tablet Gangs gonna have a head to head Battle of Benefits !!!

Today is new year's eve and Mobilink just brought the best present of the year!

I cant wait to be there !!!

Is bann'n FB is the Permanent Solution .... A very thought provok'n one

The follow'n POST is a mail by Mr. Zeeshan Ali Rana; Visit'n faculty, IBIT, Punjab University & Student of LUMS Ph.D ! This mail really provok'd the thoughts in me and i found it quite worthy of shar'n

An Islamic Scholar Mufti Kamal-ud-Din (LUMS Faculty) discussed the recent activity of drawing caricatures of our beloved Prophet (SAW). This lecture was held on 20th May 2010 in LUMS Masjid. Here is the abstract of the talk (originally written by a PhD Candidate Junaid Akhtar (LUMS)):

"The character of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), is the best character possible in a man (Quran gives a shahadat on that) so if anyone in the world is making a fun of that, it is not those Europeans in denmark, for they don't know anything about him, the real cartoons are us muslims. They are only poking fun on us, because of us. But the Sheikh said that our Prophet wouldn't be worried about those europeans who don't know him. He would be embarrassed of us (the Muslims). We don't value or follow the sunnah and hence are the best insult of Prophet ourselves. In short he said the muslims should not worry about the kuffar doing toheen-e-sunnah, rather the muslims should refrain from toheen-e-sunnah and worry about tajdeed-e-sunnah. Furthermore, he said, all forms of registering your protest are fine and should be done as a temporary quick fix, but that's not the permanent/sustainable solution."

YUPSSS ... Twitter is finally back ..... yippie .. as far as the rest of the bann'd sites are concern'd... I guess if u want to bring 'em to knees ... there must be some other bann'n of products, fast food chains, imports etc must be carried out to ensure the needful to be done !

I m recall'n the imagination i had in ma mind whn China kick'd out Google earlier this year. I try'd to imagine the time whn i lost GOOGLE !!! nd the nightmare is com'n true. I m a market'n consultant and research analyst and major pary of my research is related to the current happen'ns ... which requires labourious time and search'n. Thanx to TWITTER the precious time was getting saved as i was gett'n the latest news and tech feeds regularly within a couple of clicks!

Bann'n Facebook in Pakistan

Before read'n this post, i want to declare that i m by the Grace of ALLAH ALMIGHTY and the Sadqah of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) a Muslim and I m proud to be.

20th May, the Muhammad (PBUH) day , a shameful act; once again initiated by the story board writers of South Park and ignit'd nd fully supported by the facebook supporters all over the world to hurt Muslims emotionally as well as religiously. This act was condemned by every Muslim all over world. Thanx to Twitter and Times Magazine to promote it vigorously.

In Pakistan, the things went as expect'd, sign'n petitions, mak'n counter groups, report'n pages and groups over facebook, causes etc!

The things really turn'd tables for Facebook when the High Court of Lahore head'd under Justice Ijaz took a decision upon the petition on 18th may, 2010. Lahore High Court banned facebook and the order put into action within a couple of hours. Initially, the Ministry of Information and Technology block'd the pages contain'n such shameful and condemnable content;

This was not the end, the PTA also block'd FLICKR and YOUTUBE !

I am post totally against it. Thing is that V act like pigeons; when a pigeon sees a cat; it simply shuts its eyes and think'n that the cat just disappear'd .. whether on the other hand, the pigeon gets disappear'd by the cat !

Bann'n facebook in Pakistan is the same act of Pigeon. The whole blogger community was brac'n itself to counter it. All the bloggers, Facebook users, gonna post the proper image of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and overshadow their shameful act of insult (Nauzubilla)!

The times are changing and we must know how to cater it. This is not the first time and i can bet its not the last time either. They gonna start it again after a few times ... thn .. wat v gonna do? Permanently block it, ok how about the rest of internet? Block it too???

Facebook is the #1 tool of marketing and a highly beneficial for the entrepreneurs as well as business people to interact and globally expand as well as gather expertise n' exposure.

I must say that the gates must be open'd and V r ready to counter such acts and v should know. bann'n facebook or You tube or protest'n by burn'n tires in the cities won't do any good !

Point to ponder is .... R v jst a flock of pigeons ??

The Power of Positive Thought - Part II - Development

Most widely generic FAQ ask'd by reading any inspirational, thought provoking stuff is .... How to develop that??

This post of mine is all about development of the positive attitude, u see a glass containing some water; How to promote the attitude of think'n "The glass is half full" rather than having the first thought of "The glass is half empty"! I want to mention something from my experience; environment has little impact on ur thoughts; its YOUR thoughts, your POINT OF VIEW whiche shapes the environment for you. Its just like you are reading a text message over cell phone which has no emoticon or smiley stuff, its gonna b either funny cuz u had already a mind set of funniness right at that moment or a taunt!

Now back to the development part; starting by using the cliche "Everything has two sides, two opinions, two point of views; positive or negative", its YOU who chooses the point, either u take a disaster as a blessing in disguise or consider a lil bit more love and caring from your parents as a disaster:p ... point is; you are the one to choose. So lets get started :)) !

There is ALWAYS a Positive Point:

Remember, this world is the best example of BALANCE. If there are good things, then there are bad things; (here is also a positive thing in that because you come to know the importance of light only in the absence of light in the dark, the bad things are there to enhance the definition of good things... :) ) !

So if you are having a bad experience, learn from it; if you had a loss, learn the DON'Ts! because learning DON'Ts is always more profitable than learning DOs. The reason is simple, by applying DOs one MAY or MAY NOT get the benefit but applying DON'Ts, one is SURE enough to save oneself from the bad consequences.

So always take initiative and don't be afraid from failures. Face the FEAR!

Its Always for My own Good!

According to the Islamic teachings, it is said, observed and experienced that whatever happens, happens for your own good because Human is none the wiser about the outcomes, its own future, he/she can try to pursue the dreams but ALLAH KNOWS the Best for him/her. I want to quote few personal experiences of mine;

I wanted to be in Pakistan Army, i took their final selection test twice but they i got non-recommended both of the time. I was very much dedicated towards Pakistan Armed forces but i couldn't. I was initially disappointed, but after some time i experienced lifetime experiences, met very good and charming people and now living a life with ambitions in mind.

Another example will be from you.

Take a minute, think what you've really strived for and couldn't get it.

then, think what could've lost something good if you got it. (its not that hard, b positive; thts the whole point :P )

Don't Blame Others!

Its an old saying that "A bad workman always blames his own tools", Dnt be a looser. Be a real winner and say that's my fault; but it doesn't mean that its always gonna be your fault. Atleast be honest with your self.

Dr. Allama M. Iqbal, the national Poet and a visionary philosopher said :

Paani paani kar gayee mujh ko qalandar ki ye baat

Tu agar maira nahiN banta na ban, apna to ban

English Translation (The point of the QALANDAR (Monk) made me so ashamed of myself; If you can't be a faithful with me,atleast be faithful to your ownself)

You must a self-accountable. Know yourself, urself. You must keep in mind that it always takes two to make a quarrel. What sort of vital role played by you in the whole consequences. Believe me, it solves alot of problems and issues.

HAVE A FAITH ON ALLAH

This point must've raised at the first but it has even a stronger impact in this place. In the QURAN, ALLAH told us that "No Doubt ALLAH has control over everything" again and again. Dr. Allama M. Iqbal emphasized over this point again and again that the Muslim (i must say Momin) has no fear because he/she knows that ALLAH is with him/her because he/she has a strong believe on oneself.

Just give it a try; Keep a strong thought in mind that ALLAH has the whole control and HE is the ONE to CHANGE the whole world within a blink of an eye and HE will SOLVE your problem instantaneously, dnt let ur thoughts wander, jst have a faith and then experience that change, the very change i experienced and experiencing MASHALLAH!

HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE !

Remember, its you who define the fullness or emptiness of the glass containing water. Initially its gonna b a bit difficult but u can do it! Yes u can do iT!!! tht's the whole thing. Believe in yourself, be yourself. Always consider the following points.

In a desperate situation, don't Loose hope. Hazrat Ali (R.A.) quoted "Getting Sad in a problematic situation is a problem itself!"

Where there is a will, there is always a way; a better way, with better promises, which u can't compare with the benefits which you apparently seek.

The Power of a Positive Thought - Noetic Science: Intro

Few days ago, i was reading the Novel of Dan Brown .. The LOST SYMBOL ... in this fascinat'n novel, Dan Brown revealed the facts of new development ... Noetic Sciences! In the story, the character makes the woman to realize the power of Human Mind and the thoughts of Human Mind. The character; Katherine Solomon explains the following:

Mind over matter.
In 2001, in the hours following the horrifying events of September 11, the field of Noetic Science made a quantum leap forward. Four scientists discovered that as the frightened world came together and focused in shared grief on this single tragedy, the outputs of thirty-seven different Random Event Generators around the world suddenly became significantly less random. Now this thing struck me ... is it really possible that they thoughts have an impact on the happenings of our daily life. Let's have some explanations, from religious to scientific and literary as well !

Newton's Law of Gravitation states that "Every body attracts every other body with a FORCE which is directly proportional to the product of masses of the bodies and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them" ... and Newton deduced the value of that FORCE and denoted it as 'G' and G = 6.67 X 10^-11 NM^2/Kg^2 ! Here the funny part is, the thought in our mind is a matter, and as every matter has weight, so this thought has a mass; now this thought could be positive or negative, i'll go with the positive stuff; now this thought attracts the SYSTEM of the universe with tht G but as the thought is not strong (i.e. we don't actually believe in ourselves) the mass is insignificant and the Value goes down! But what about 10 people are having the same thought, the mass multiplied, the force is now increasing its tendency to attract, how about 1000 people; You see, as the number of people are increasing with the same positive thought, the force is getting stronger and stronger and ultimately it'll lead to the outcomes perceived by the mass public. Now by the middle of this post, some people will laugh at me at I m try'n to cook a recipe for the controlling of future or something but actually this is happening all around the globe, all around your lives. You can't control the future, but you can prepare for it.
Problem Ends Where Faith Begins!
Coming to the religious point of view, the OMENS, the GUMAANS (or perception) in Islam, the Shagun in Hinduism, these all converge to the single point. I was talking to a friend of mine and he told me that he used to believe on the omens to much, one day, his Islamic Studies Teacher said that... Try to break the walls around you, try to be fearless and the Fear will Fear from you. He said that from that day, he got some negative thoughts in earlier periods but now he considers himself to be stupid on believing the omens.
In Islam, there is a Sacred Saying of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), the meaning of the Hadees (Sacred say'n) is as follows:
ALLAH says to the Human that O Human, You'll find the ME (ALLAH) in the same manner as you've perceived about ME(ALLAH) !

The national Poet of Pakistan, Dr. Allama Iqbal once said in his poem, addressing to Muslims that "The Muslims never fear anything because he knows that ALLAH is with him". This is the widespread interpretation of the Holy Verses of the Holy Quran that clearly states"No Doubt, ALLAH Has Control over everything"!

Coming to the literature part; a brief overview, What goes around comes around! The most common phrase, everywhere. This shows that the universe is in balance, and the Universe HAS to be in balance, if we mess up with the nature, the nature fights back... One can observe it!

Now coming to the main topic, The Power of Positive thought! The Power of Positive thought gets experienced from time to time ... Either its the form of the strong belief and high morale in the soldiers behind enemy lines, or in the minds and hearts of people leading a long term goal with a VISION. It is the power of the positive thought that British Commandos apprehended the Nazi's key Strategic Military areas and turned the tables within a short period!
Its the power of positive thoughts that made Pakistan, more than 50 million immigrants got martyred but still they moved towards this land. Its the power of the Positive Thought, that the people still survive from the attacks and disasters, they start a new life.
Its the power of positive thoughts that lead to the phrase "Where there is WILL there is a WAY" ! and they find a way out or atleast try to tell others what to do !!!

Think about it. The main objective of reading this blog is to experience that Power! Have positive thoughts all the time, be Positive about yourself, your environment, your surroundings! We don't need any miracles or revolution to move towards Progressive State and Successful lives ... all we need is ... A Positive thought !!!
